Ai Weiwei
In an intimate round-table discussion, activist and curator Ben Vickers explores the potentials of emergent digital platforms as channels for decentralisation and resistance.
Alongside a consideration of Ai Weiwei’s virtual practice as a self-proclaimed rejection of pressure, surveillance and censorship, join us to explore methods of remote forms of digital insurgency and discuss what successful form of social media as political subversion might look like.
This event invites audiences to participate in a round-table discussion in the intimate setting of the Saloon. We encourage ticket holders to bring new thoughts and perspectives to share with others in order to generate an informed and participative debate with invited speakers.
