Named recognition as an RA250 Friend in the RA magazine and on the RA’s website
Your support of the Royal Academy will be recognised in the RA magazine and on the RA’s website. Your name will be listed as it was supplied by you and confirmation of this can be found in your receipt confirmation email.
Naming recognition cannot be transferred to a nominated person. An email will be sent to you to confirm this benefit. Should you wish amend how your name appears within the RA magazine or on the RA website, or if you would like to remain anonymous please respond to the confirmation email accordingly. If you do not contact us to opt out of this benefit, your name will be listed as it appears on your membership card in the next issue of the RA magazine (providing this is no less than 60 days after the commencement of your Membership) and when the list of RA250 Friends and Supporters are displayed and refreshed on the RA website.
Membership gift recipients will be asked to opt in to receive this naming recognition benefit. The donor of a gift membership cannot authorise naming recognition for someone else. The gift recipient will receive a form with their welcome pack and membership card which will enable them to opt in or out at their discretion and confirm how they would like their name to appear.
The RA magazine is delivered four times a year, usually in March, May, September and November. As an RA250 Friend or RA250 Supporter, your name will appear in every issue, which RA250 members are recognised within, until December 2019. For your name to appear in the first RA250 commemorative magazine, your Membership must be purchased and naming confirmed on or before January 31, 2018.
Your name will appear on the RA Website until the end of December 2019.
The Royal Academy will moderate donor names and may in its absolute discretion remove any names which it deems inappropriate or which do not comply with these Terms. No refund or compensation is payable to you in these circumstances.
Donors are not able to choose the exact location of their name in the RA magazine or on the RA website.
The Royal Academy will not be responsible, or liable to the donor or any third party, for the content or accuracy of any information provided by the donor to be included in the RA magazine or on the RA Website.
The name that will appear in the RA magazine and on the RA Website must be limited to 30 characters. The Royal Academy reserves the right to ask you to re-word your dedication if it is too long.
As an RA250 Supporter you will receive the benefits described above and in addition:
