Antony Gormley
See new work and major installations at an exclusive, early morning private view and guided tour of our exhibition 'Antony Gormley' with an art historian.
This is a truly unique experience to navigate through Antony Gormley’s most ambitious exhibition in ten years away from the crowds.
See a series of experiential installations, some brand-new, some remade for the RA’s galleries, realised from materials exploring his wide-ranging use of organic, industrial and elemental materials over the years, including iron, steel, hand-beaten lead, seawater and clay.
Ahead of the galleries opening to the public, the event will begin with an RA art historian who will walk you through the exhibition, highlighting key works and stories behind Gormley's 45-year career. Even more exclusive than the VIP Friday morning viewings, this is your chance to view this extraordinary exhibition at your own leisure.
This event is open to RA250 Friends, RA250 Supporters and members of the Academicians’ Room only. Please call 020 7300 8090 to book.
Please note: there was a misprint in the Autumn 2019 edition of RA Magazine. The correct time for this event is shown above. We apologise for the error.
