Jonathan Yeo

An evening with artist Jonathan Yeo, best known for his portraits of celebrated figures in the arts and politics, including Damien Hirst, Dennis Hopper, Malala Yousafzai and Tony Blair.

Does contemporary portraiture fulfil the same role that Renaissance portraiture once played in society? London-based Jonathan Yeo, often described as Britain’s leading portrait artist, joins the RA’s Tim Marlow to discuss why portraiture still matters.
