Art handler Simon Streather will reveal the technical secrets behind this fascinating role and how an exhibition comes to life at the RA.
Our art handlers are truly experts in their field, tasked with looking after masterpieces, they often work tirelessly through the nights to facilitate the world-class exhibitions exhibited at the RA.
Taking place throughout Friends week, we are offering Friends an opportunity to gain insight to the RA’s inner workings through stories and anecdotes from the experts.
Friends week is a week of events dedicated to our loyal Friends, to thank you for your continued support. It’s a chance to experience events, activities, talks and tours from around the Academy. Read more about Friends week
