Uncover some of the most treasured items from the RA Collection with Archivist, Mark Pomeroy and Head of the RA Library, Adam Waterton.
Established to serve the needs of the Royal Academicians and students in the RA Schools, the RA Library is one of the world’s most significant resources for the historical study of British art from 1760 to the present day.
Housing significant collections of books and materials relating to British art and its history, as well as the history of the RA, Royal Academicians, exhibitions and collections since the mid-18th century. This tour give you a rare insight into the RA Collection with Archivist, Mark Pomeroy and Head of the RA Libary, Adam Waterton.
Taking place throughout Friends Week, we are offering Friends of the RA a unique opportunity to gain insight to the inner workings of the Royal Academy through talks, tours, workshops, stories and anecdotes from the experts.
This event is open to members of the Academicians’ Room, Friends of the RA and RA250 Friends and RA250 Supporters.
