Angelica Kauffman
Bring Angelica Kauffman’s paintings to life in this Friday evening life drawing class.
Start your weekend creatively at our live restaging of one of Angelica Kauffman's most iconic paintings, Self-portrait of the Artist hesitating between the Arts of Music and Painting. During this class, artist Robin-Lee Hall will lead you in a series of drawing exercises. Using pencil and paper, you will draw models posed like Kauffman's subjects and unlock new perspectives on this famous composition.
Whether you’re new to life drawing, or a seasoned artist, this event is an opportunity for you to practise your life drawing skills whilst immersing yourself in a dynamic experience of Kauffman’s work.
Materials will be provided.
Robin-Lee Hall is an artist and educator who has exhibited and taught at major institutions across the UK, including the National Gallery, the National Portrait Gallery, and the Royal Academy. She is the former President of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
