Revolution: Russian Art 1917–1932

Join us for this creative workshop inspired by the artworks in ‘Revolution: Russian Art 1917-1932’
One hundred years on from the Russian Revolution, this powerful exhibition explores one of the most momentous periods in modern world history through the lens of its groundbreaking art.
Attendees will be supported to explore this far-ranging exhibition, including Kandinsky’s boldly innovative compositions, the dynamic abstractions of Malevich and the Suprematists, and the emergence of Socialist Realism. The group will then be guided to create their own work in response to the idea of expressing ideals.
These workshops are designed for groups working with disabled adults or adults at risk of exclusion from arts and culture. We advise groups are not more than 15 people so we can ensure everyone attending is properly supported to engage with the workshop.
