Supporting the work of the Royal Academy of Arts
It is very easy to join, and Friends membership offers a whole year of amazing benefits:
I do not think there is a more pleasurable or fulfilling thing to be than a Friend of the Royal Academy. I am passionate about the Royal Academy and think it stands for all the very best in British cultural life. There is nowhere else like it on earth.
Your Support is our Future
The RA is a self-supporting charity, which receives no revenue funding from the government. It is the support of our Friends that helps us to continue our work and remain a centre of visual arts in the UK.
As well as enabling us to develop our exhibition programme, your generosity means we can continue to conserve the nation's artistic heritage through our Collections, Library and Archive, and nurture the next generation of artists through the RA Schools.
Stay up to date with What's On at the RA and receive updates from Royal Academicians with Friends e-news
To sign up, register with the Friends of the RA online via the log in box to the top left of this page.
Are you a new Friend of the RA?
On the first Sunday of every month there are Friends Welcome Tours, highlighting the Fine Rooms and works from the permanent collection.
The Friends Welcome Tour lasts for 1 hour. Meet in the foyer of Burlington House at 2pm; No need to book.
