Premiums: Interim Projects
Premiums is your chance to see the work of our RA Schools students midway through their postgraduate fine art studies here.
The 17 artists featured will present a broad range of work, from drawing and painting to sculptural installation and performance work.
Our students are some of the most promising new artists in the UK and Premiums is the first opportunity for the public to view their work in our galleries. This is a show for anyone interested in contemporary art or collecting. Admission is free so come and see what the next generation has been up to in their studios.
The RA Schools is Britain’s first fine art school. Founded in 1768, our alumni include JMW Turner, John Constable,William Blake and 2013 Turner Prize nominee Lynette Yiadom-Boakye.

About the RA Schools
The first art school in Britain
We are a school of contemporary fine art that offers 17 artists each year the opportunity to participate in an intense three-year programme. We are committed to providing an open, informed and critical environment for the personal and professional development of the artist.
The RA Schools was founded in 1769, and we remain independent to this day. This independence gives us the freedom to invent what we do. We are unique in offering the only three-year postgraduate programme in Europe. There are no fees and there is no curriculum: instead we offer a unique programme that responds to the specific needs of each individual artist.
