Young Patrons are invited to explore the abstract and figurative paintings, installations and sound works of Celia Hempton in her East London Studio.
Celia Hempton’s work often explores the human form and the places it inhabits. Many paintings depict graphic and sensual explorations of flesh whilst confronting feelings of discomfort associated with this.
Patrons are invited to step into her East London Studio and hear from the artist herself, as she takes you through her practice.
Celia Hempton is a UK artist born in 1981, living and working in London. She graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Painting in 2007 and completed her BA in Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art. Celia has since had numerous international gallery and museum exhibitions.
