Young Patrons: dinner with Eliza Bonham Carter
Thursday 11 July 2019 7 - 10pm
Location confirmed on RSVP
£75 per person. Due to limited capacity, we cannot permit guests for this event.
Young Patrons are invited to dine with Curator and Head of the RA Schools, Eliza Bonham Carter.
This will be an opportunity for Young Patrons to engage with an executive member of Royal Academy staff, learn about the intricacies of the RA Schools and develop a greater understanding of the Royal Academy.
Founded in 1769, the RA Schools remains independent to this day. This allows us to offer a free three-year postgraduate programme with bursary support to facilitate the production of new work. With a maximum of 17 students per year group, we are able to tailor our programme to the specific needs of each student, offering time and space to reflect and make. Discussion and debate is fuelled by a variety of lectures, artist talks, group critiques and tutorials given by leading contemporary artists, Royal Academicians, critics, writers and theorists.
