Join us to explore portraits of 20th-century women from a new display of paintings from the RA Collection. Each artwork has been chosen for its ability to represent the sitter as an individual with their own identity and stories to tell. Some of the women represented were friends or relatives of the artist, some were influential public figures and some remain somewhat of a mystery. Discover the people behind the portraits in one of the John Madejski Fine Rooms.
In this series of taster talks, encounter the stories behind the RA’s Collection and its buildings from the perspective of RA staff. Taster talks take place at 2pm on Mondays and Thursdays.
Taster talks are free and last 15 minutes. Ask a member of the team on site for further information.
