Thursday 21 November 2019 6.30 - 8.30pm
Royal Academy Schools, Burlington Gardens
Free for Patrons, booking required.
To mark the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy Schools, current students will open their artist studios, with performances and a drinks reception just for Patrons.
Royal Academy Schools is the longest-running art school in Britain and offers students the opportunity to develop their artistic and creative practice at the heart of the RA. Go behind-the-scenes and gain an insight into the lives of contemporary art students today at this exclusive view for Patrons.
The evening will include performances, food and drinks alongside the opportunity for Patrons to meet the artists, see the projects they are currently working on, and find out more about their work and life at the Royal Academy Schools.
The Royal Academy Schools has been the RA’s independent school of art since it opened its doors in 1769. The three year, full-time postgraduate programme in contemporary fine art focuses on the professional education of the artist, through exposure to ideas and constructive critique, dialogue with a diversity of voices and access to specialist workshops.
