Enjoy a guided walk around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, focusing on the architecture of the major sporting venues and a selection of the many artworks on the site, including the UK’s tallest sculpture, Anish Kapoor’s 'Orbit'.
On the coach journey to the Olympic Park, our expert guides will inform us about the construction of the park and the history of the area in which it is built, so that when we arrive for our guided walk, we can focus on some of the many artworks in the Park, including Orbit and the 9 metre-high steel and glass installation RUN by Monica Bonvincini.
We also view the exteriors of the major sporting venues and hear how architecture and design are part of the legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games. This was the first Olympic Park to integrate artworks into the landscape, with artists working closely with architects and construction teams to develop and install their works.
