Friends of the RA book first
Join us for a special opportunity to hear from the President of the Royal Academy. Christopher Le Brun PRA will discuss his career as an artist, what it means to be a Royal Academician and ambitions for the RA.
Elected in December 2011, Christopher Le Brun is the 26th President of the Royal Academy, and an acclaimed painter, sculptor and printmaker collected by institutions internationally. He trained at the Slade and Chelsea Schools of Art, and his works reflect his attachment to the emotional address of Romanticism and Symbolism.
The President would like to invite Friends to join him for a special talk which will cover his own work as an artist, the role of the Academicians at the Royal Academy, and the future of the RA as our 250th anniversary approaches.
Ticket price includes a welcome drink. Booking is essential for this event; if you wish to bring a guest please book one ticket for each person. Find out more about Friends Events and Friends Week 2016.
