Visual artist Tacita Dean and choreographer Wayne McGregor discuss their artistic collaboration on a new project for The Royal Ballet, 'The Dante Project (Inferno)'.

In a conversation with writer and broadcaster, Sarah Crompton, Tacita Dean and Wayne McGregor explore their collaborative process behind The Dante Project (Inferno), a stage production performed by The Royal Ballet which will premiere at the Royal Opera House in May.
Dean and McGregor will also describe their experience working with an award-winning team of international artists, composers, lighting designers, dancers, and dramaturgs to make this work based on Dante’s Divine Comedy.
This talk will include an audience Q&A at the end.
Tacita Dean and Wayne McGregor will be taking part in a signing in the Burlington Gardens entrance hall, outside Pace Gallery after the event.
Tacita Dean CBE is a British visual artist who works primarily in film. She won the Hugo Boss Prize in 2006, and was elected to the Royal Academy of Arts in 2008. In 2018, Dean presented LANDSCAPE, PORTRAIT, STILL LIFE, three distinct exhibitions which formed an unprecedented collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery, National Gallery and The Royal Academy of Arts.
Wayne McGregor CBE is a multi-award winning British choreographer and director, known for drawing on an array of artistic forms, scientific disciplines, and technological interventions. Company Wayne McGregor is Resident Company at Sadler’s Wells, London and since 2006 McGregor has been Resident Choreographer at The Royal Ballet.
