Cressida Cowell, best-selling author of children’s book series, ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ and ‘The Wizards of Once’, gives tips on becoming an author or illustrator and does some live drawing.

How to Train Your Dragon has sold over eight million books worldwide in 37 languages and is an award-winning DreamWorks film franchise, as well as a TV series. The Wizards of Once has recently been signed up by DreamWorks.

Cowell is an ambassador for the National Literacy Trust and The Reading Agency and a founder patron of the Children’s Media Foundation. She has won numerous prizes for her books, including the Gold Award in the Nestlé Children’s Book Prize, The Blue Peter Book Award and Philosophy Now magazine’s 2015 Award For Contributions in the Fight Against Stupidity.

This event is open to all ages, but the recommended age is 8+.
