Friends and Academicians’ Room members: Life drawing – planes and facets
An exclusive opportunity for Friends and Academicians’ Room members to enjoy monthly life-drawing sessions in the Sir Hugh Casson Room, designed to be both rewarding and fun. This month’s session concentrates on planes and facets.
In this session emphasis will be placed on seeing the figure in terms of a continuous series of planes. Through a more reductive approach mass and form will be simplified into a progression of planes and facets. This will act as a short hand to express volume and structure. Poses will vary from quick to more sustained - although this technique will be employed more in the quicker poses.
To book, please call 020 7300 8090. Friends of the RA can also book online from Wednesday 10 October 2018.
