In this talk, Valentine offers insights into the longstanding influence of Spain, Spanish landscapes, and Spanish cultures and artists on Anthony Whishaw RA’s paintings, sketches and works on paper.
With first hand insights from the curator, learn more about the paintings depicting the savage ritual of bullfighting and discover why Whishaw has been drawn to the vistas of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, and deserted Spanish villages, since his first visit in 1951.
