All Saints Church is a stunning example of Victorian Gothic architecture. Friends enjoy a talk and tour with Alan Moses, vicar of All Saints.
All Saints was designed in 1850 by architect William Butterfield, and was beloved by literary figures John Ruskin and Sir John Betjemen, who declared ‘it was here, in the 1850s, that the revolution in architecture began.’
In January 2014 All Saints was chosen by Simon Thurley, then head of English Heritage, as one of the ten buildings that have changed the face of Britain. The interior is noted for its polychromatic brickwork and high gothic interior- a true "hidden gem" in the streets of central London.
