Artist John Pule, who is from Niue and New Zealand, introduces his five-panel painting 'Kehe tau hauaga foou (To all new arrivals)' in our Oceania exhibition.

Hanging in the Memory and Commemoration room of our Oceania exhibition, this huge five-panel work by John Pule covers subject matter ranging from Polynesian gods (some of which are on display in the exhibition) to the September 11 terrorist attacks. Here, he discusses the themes of the work. Oceania is in the Main Galleries until 10 December 2018.
