Photograph of a sketch model for a portrait bust of Henry James 1843 - 1916. A marble version was exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts in 1916 (cat.2208) and included in the Derwent Wood memorial exhibition, 1927 (cat.28). The bust was later purchased through the Chantry Bequest.
One of a collection of 67 photographs of sculpture by Francis Derwent Wood R.A. which belonged to Kineton Parkes.
