The thirty-seven illustrations were designed and engraved on wood by Agnes Miller Parker. The initial letters were designed and engraved by the printer. Hand-set in Bembo type by: Richard O. Jones. Pressman: Herbert John Hodgson. The paper is a special making by J. Barcham Green of Maidstone.” [colophon].

Bound in the publisher's original tanned sheepskin, with the title blocked in black foil on the spine. Bevelled boards. Fore-edge and tail deckle-edged paper.
