The work consists of 60 plates, each accompanied by a leaf of descriptive letterpress printed in English recto and French verso. Two other plates are listed in the 'List Of The Plates' - the engraved title-plate and the concluding vignette.


A facsimile, under the title Paesaggi di Sicilia, was published in 1980 (Palermo: Banca di Sicilia).

19th-century calf, upper and lower covers having blind- and gilt-stamped borders; rebacked in 20th century, gilt-decorated spine, lettered 'Sicilian Scenery' and 'R.A.'
