The work was issued in 10 parts of 20 plates each, published between 1880 and 1900. These are the first three portfolios of the second volume. The first part (Band II, Lief I) contains the only title-page for the 5 published portfolios (with the date 1890) followed by the plates numbered 1-20; the second portfolio contains plates 21-40; the third contains plates 41-60. Binding Note
The portfolios are cream boards with red cloth spine. The front boards have red and black lettering and decorative devices with the abbreviated title 'Bauornamente der Neuzeit' and the date 1886. There is no spne lettering.
