They appear variously as 'Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Brown', 'Longman, Hurst & Co.', 'Longman & Co., 'Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme & Co.' - generally joined with 'Hurst, Robinson & Co.', but in the case of pl. [20] joined with 'Robinson, Son & Holdsworth, Leeds'. The in-text illustration on p.8 is signed as drawn by I. Buckler and cut by R. Branston; that on p.4, as cut by Branston. The others are unsigned.
