He thinks Mr. Haynes design [of Anderdon's father's tomb] is absurd. It needn't be heavily decorated, but if simple it needs to be well designed. Haynes's design requires further explanation. He is at a loss to recommend a suitable stone, both Portland and Whitby have failed with him.
