Content Description

Pasted to the cover is a list of the contents: do people think for themselves; use of the Critic, good and bad; Mion, a love tale of Provence; a Play, Bacon comparisons; a talk about art at Wanstead; the old old Storey; a great authority, a skit on Algernon; Pluto's messenger; Academic teaching, so called; evolution; for the love of art; a beginning; RA elections; disappointment; conclusion of perspective lectures.

'A talk about art at Wanstead' is by far the longest piece, at over fifty pages. It is clearly a lecture written and dilivered by Storey. Also in the volume is his opinion of G.F. Watts.
