Sending thanks for his kind attention to his request for prints which Cooper is sending to Edinburgh. He held the eminent
Barry in high esteem and is very desirous to acquire the picture
Chiron instructing the young Achilles for his collection. He must have a conversation with his banker
Coutts regarding his ability to afford it at the sum Humphry mentions. In the meantime he wishes for a detailed description. He has added Humphry's portrait to his series of artists as a sign of his regard.
