Cooper had previously submitted 'Yseult the Fair, Queen of Cornwall' as his diploma work. The meeting of Council of 3 June 1936 had asked him to submit a choice of smaller works.
Content Description
The letter concerns his choice of diploma picture, which he describes as one of his best-known works. It had been exhibited in 1907 and he had bought it back at Christies in 1921. Secretary's note "Vanity".
