Volume of minutes of the Council, including the following selected entries: memorandum of a deputation to the Government concerning the representation of British art at the 1876 Philadelphia International Exhibition, 19 July 1875, a note of the response of the Government, 5 August 1875, a report of the receipt of a letter of congratulations from members of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, 2 November 1875 and a note of the artists whose diploma works were selected for that exhibition, 16 November 1875; and a note that it had been decided that it was difficult and inexpedient to exhibit students’ premium works at the same time as the winter exhibition, 1 December 1875.
