Todd's picture entitled 'White Petticoat' had arrived and Oppenheimer had hung it up as a centre in their drawing room, where it looked delightful. Oppenheimer's wife was as charmed with the work as he himself had been when he first saw it on varnishing day. It is seen to better advantage than at the RA, and Oppenheimer was very proud to own it.
