Content Description
The letter relates to Gibson's statue of Mrs Murray. Everyone who came from Rome was in raptures with it, and the writer suspects that it will throw the original quite into the shade. The letter bears drawing by Mr Severn of a new species of lily, which Mrs Murray asks Gibson to be incorporated in the statue, in place of the rose.
