Summary Note

`A father finds himself on a train. He’s not sure how he got there nor where the train is going. When he discovers his daughter Cressida is in danger, he begins a complex journey back to warn her. Cressida’s Dream is a story of a father and daughter mixed with the cautionary tale of a world on the edge of apocalypse. Every page sparkles with ideas and images, and one must surrender to them as the apocalyptic scenes career into each other. Words by Simon Astaire and illustrations by Bill Jacklin.'
