Our free, artist-led workshops support Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 students to develop their understanding of conceptual art by exploring the work of Michael Craig-Martin RA. These workshops are now fully booked.
Michael Craig-Martin
We're inviting secondary school students to explore our Michael Craig-Martin exhibition and experiment with media, materials, techniques and processes in a studio-based art-making workshop.
Dates
Workshops run once a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays during term-time from 1st October to 22nd November
Times
- Workshop: 11:00 – 13:00
- Packed lunch: 13:00 – 13:30
- After the workshop, you're welcome to return to the exhibition for a self-guided visit

Key outcomes
Students will:
- Critically analyse and reflect on the work of others
- Develop their understanding of the purposes, intentions and functions of art
- Develop and refine ideas through investigation and experimentation with different media
Although the overview of each workshop will remain the same, we will tailor elements to best suit the needs of your students.
