Friends of the RA are invited to win a place at a free life-drawing class in the RA Schools, led by a special guest tutor.

The Life Room, RA Schools, Piccadilly
Study the fundamentals of drawing in this back-to-basics practical course. Participants will work from specially selected objects, as well as from both male and female life models to explore line and tone, perspective and scale, measuring and foreshortening.
£240 per day. £420 for two days. Includes all materials, lunch, and wine reception at the end of each day.

Leading art-world experts and international scholars introduce and de-mystify the fascinating world of antiquities and the ancient arts – with a view to the timeless forms, ideas and universal motifs that are so influential across the arts and culture up to the present day.

The tradition of landscape painting will be the inspiration for creating unique and colourful artworks using mixed media – including paint, collage and photo montage – led by practising artist Grace Adam.
