Teachers look at artworks at a private view

Roy Matthews

Join fellow teachers for a free private view of ‘Angelica Kauffman’, followed by an introductory lecture from the exhibition’s curator.

Angelica Kauffman RA (1741–1807) was one of the most successful female artists of her time and a founding member of the Royal Academy. This exhibition will focus on Kauffman’s work at the height of her public acclaim, tracing the life and work of this celebrated artist.

This event begins with a 45-minute introductory lecture by the exhibition’s curator. Explore Kuaffman’s life and work and take new ideas back to the classroom to share with your students.

The introductory lecture will take place at 6.30pm in the Benjamin West Lecture Theatre.

Maximum 2 spaces per teacher. Multiple teachers from the same school can book spaces. Tickets will not be allocated for these events, but teachers will have to register when they arrive.
