Tainted by rumours of body-snatching and skulduggery, the controversial subject of anatomical instruction was introduced at the RA in 1768 with the appointment of influential physician William Hunter (1718-1783). Find out more about the Academy’s Professors of Anatomy in this short talk within the exhibition, The Anatomy Professor.

In this series of taster talks, encounter the stories behind the RA Collection and buildings from the perspective of the RA staff.
