Drop in for a free 15-minute talk to unearth the hidden stories of the Royal Academy.

This talk will introduce Mali Morris RA Selects, a free display in the RA Collection Gallery. Morris, an abstract painter and Royal Academician, took the theme of ‘immediacy’ as a way of selecting works from the RA Collection and bringing them together for this display. Sketches by Constable, Gainsborough and Turner sit alongside works by living artists and commonplace examples of studio life, such as doodles and painting tools.

In this series of taster talks, encounter the stories behind the RA’s remarkable Collection and buildings from the RA staff’s insider perspective.

Taster talks are free and last 15 minutes. Ask a member of the team on site for further information.
