Antony Gormley
Supported by The Lord Leonard and Lady Estelle Wolfson Foundation
Explore space and the human form in our tailor-made workshops for students with special educational needs and disabilities inspired by sculptor Antony Gormley’s large-scale installations.
Anthony Gormley’s experiential installations explore the use of the artist’s body as a tool to create artwork, working with diverse and unusual media including iron, steel, hand-beaten lead, seawater and clay. In this creative session, students create their own works responding to the materials and themes they choose to explore in the exhibition.
Our tailor-made multi-sensory workshops are lead by experienced artist educators and are designed specifically for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Each workshop includes an interactive guided exhibition visit and object handling, followed by an art making session.
