RA250 lecture: Tim Marlow presents 2019 exhibitions
Artistic Director Tim Marlow introduces the 2019 exhibition programme, revealing what’s coming up at the RA.
Every September, the Royal Academy announces its exhibitions for the year ahead, revealing which artists and architects will be taking over the galleries of Burlington House and Gardens. This event gives RA250 Supporters the chance to gain further insight into another exciting year of exhibitions at the RA, as Artistic Director Tim Marlow provides an overview of the upcoming season in our brand new lecture theatre.
Tim Marlow has been the Artistic Director of the RA since 2014 and has worked with many of the most important and influential artists of our time. Marlow is an award-winning radio and television broadcaster who has presented over 100 documentaries on British television. He was the founder editor of Tate magazine and is the author of numerous books and catalogues. He has lectured, chaired and participated in panel discussions on art and culture around the world.
