Gauguin and the Impressionists
See 60 works by major Impressionist artists at an exclusive, early morning private view and guided tour with an art historian of our exhibition 'Gauguin and the Impressionists: Masterpieces from the Ordrupgaard Collection'.
The Ordrupgaard Collection in Denmark is home to some of the most important Impressionist paintings in northern Europe. Next spring, we showcase 60 of its works by painters such as Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Pisarro, Morisot and Degas – many of which have never been seen in the UK.
Ahead of the gallery opening to the public, learn more about key works with art historian, Linda Bolton as she walks you through the exhibition.
Please meet promptly in the Front Hall of Burlington Gardens at 8.30am.
This event is open to RA250 Friends and RA250 Supporters and members of the Academicians’ Room only. Please call 020 7300 8090 to book your tickets.
