Hear more about the RA Schools from the unique perspective of its recently elected Keeper, the painter and printmaker Rebecca Salter RA.
The Keeper is the artist elected to be responsible for our art school, the RA Schools. The current Keeper, Rebecca Salter RA, succeeded Eileen Cooper RA in Sepetember 2017, becoming only the second woman to hold the position in the Royal Academy's history.
In this event for RA250 Friends and Supporters, Rebecca Salter RA reflects upon her recently appointed role at the Academy and her work as an artist. A painter and printmaker, Salter began her studies at Bristol Polytechnic before spending six years studying and practising art in Kyoto, Japan. You can read more about her life and work here.
This event is open to RA250 Friends and Supporters only.
