RA tours: a head, a hand, a foot and a bucket of dirty water
Saturday 27 April 2019 3 - 4pm
Meet in Front Hall of Burlington Gardens, Royal Academy of Arts
Free, no booking required.
Explore the Royal Academy’s cast and sculpture collection in this free hour-long tour.
Sculpture was one of the three main disciplines, or ‘Arts of Design’, which the Royal Academy pledged to promote at its foundation in 1768. Today, sculpture continues to be a key practice among our Royal Academicians and for the students in the RA Schools.
Join one of our knowledgeable guides and discover the stories behind the sculpture and casts on display throughout the RA campus, beginning in the Collections Gallery and finishing at the Sculpture Gallery.
Tours are free, but spaces are limited. Please meet in the front hall of Burlington Gardens and ask a staff member for more information.
