Join one of our knowledgeable guides and explore the materials and processes of some of the Royal Academy’s key artists. Why didn’t Gainsborough paint his landscapes en plein air? What is the relationship between an artist and his framer? Why is copying a painting so important?

Tours are free, but spaces are limited. Please meet in the front hall of Burlington Gardens and ask a staff member for more information.
