£75. Payment on RSVP.
This summer we invite you on a trip to visit the cultural organisations paving the way for artistic excellence in Yorkshire.
The Hepworth Wakefield, designed by Royal Academician David Chipperfield and described as "one of the finest contemporary art museums in Europe", brings together Wakefield’s art collection, exhibitions by contemporary artists and rarely seen works by Barbara Hepworth. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park’s 500 acres of rolling countryside are home to site specific installations from Tracey Emin RA to Gary Hume RA, and the land offers an abundance of artistic heritage. The Henry Moore Institute, set up by the Henry Moore Foundation to continue the artist’s legacy and encourage public appreciation of the visual arts, is fundamental in the study of sculpture. Join us on a day trip to visit these significant sights in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales.
Includes lunch, travel within Yorkshire and entrance to all exhibits. Excludes travel to and from Leeds. Limited availability.
