Explore ways of looking at and creating images in this unique workshop for Patrons and their family members, inspired by ‘Picasso and Paper’.

Led by RA Schools student Emmanuel Awuni, this practical workshop will take participants on a journey of discovery through drawing.

Using images from Picasso and Paper exhibition as a starting point, through a series of short exercises, Emmanuel will guide participants, exploring how to construct an image by looking and feeling through personal response. This workshop is suitable for all levels.

The workshop will be followed by an exclusive private tour of Picasso and Paper.

Following the 250th anniversary of the Royal Academy Schools in 2019, we are excited to present a new series of events aimed at Patrons and young people, which will celebrate our Academy as a place of learning and experimentation. The Patrons Academy Series is a unique opportunity to get closer to Royal Academicians, RA Schools students and Schools professors through creative workshops and talks.
