Patrons: Luke Edward Hall studio visit
Wednesday 27 March 2019 7 - 8.30pm
Highbury, London. Full address provided on RSVP.
Free, booking required.
Patrons are invited to visit the studio of London-based artist and designer of interiors, fabrics and ceramics, Luke Edward Hall.
Hall's colourful aesthetic is informed by a love of history, an appreciation of beauty and a sense of playfulness. His illustrations have led to collaborations with companies and institutions including Burberry, Christie’s and the Royal Academy of Arts.
To celebrate the RA's 250th anniversary, the RA shop commissioned Hall to create a range of products inspired by the Academy’s place in London society and the personalities who have frequented its parties and dining rooms. The resulting illustrations have been applied to ceramics, tableware, napkins, glasses, stationery as well as bottles of sparkling wine and gin.
