Patrons: Es Devlin studio visit
Join us at the studio of stage designer Es Devlin to explore the process behind her work, which includes creating kinetic stage sculptures in opera, dance, theatre, fashion and music, as well as her own solo work.
Es Devlin is the designer behind the 2012 London Olympic closing ceremony. She has collaborated with artists including Kanye West and Beyonce and has made memorable installations such as the Singing Tree at the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Mirror Maze in Peckham.
Es has been awarded the 2017 London Design Medal, three Olivier Awards, Evening Standard, Critics’ Circle and Wall Street Journal innovation award in 2016. She is a fellow of UAL London and was made OBE in 2015.
